Hospice and Palliative Care

Before a final decision is made, we offer hospice or palliative care. This focuses entirely on your pet’s comfort, managing their pain and symptoms to ensure their final days are filled with as much peace and quality time with you as possible.

A Difficult Conversation

Knowing when it’s time is the hardest part. We’ll take you through all the available options, your pet’s quality of life, explain the process, and answer every question.
This conversation is to give you support and guidance so that you can feel at peace with your decision.

A Peaceful Environment: In Our Clinic or Your Home

We want you and your pet to be where you’re most comfortable.
You can choose a private, quiet space in our clinic, or we can arrange for an in-home euthanasia service. This way, your pet is in their favourite, familiar surroundings, held by the people they love.

The Euthanasia Process: Gentle and Pain-Free

We give you complete control of the pace. Your family will have all the private time you need to say your goodbyes before, during, and after the procedure.
The entire process is painless, helping your pet be at ease.
The process involves two injections. The first is a sedative that lets them drift into a deep, peaceful sleep. They’ll be completely free of any pain or anxiety.
Then, only when you are ready, we give the final medication, allowing them to pass peacefully.

Aftercare Options to Honour Their Memory

After your pet has passed, you can take as much time as you need.
We’ll be there to support you and discuss aftercare choices when you’re ready. We offer options for burial and cremation that honour your companion’s memory.
We can also provide resources to help you and your family through the grieving process.
